The name Animula Nook first made itself known about two weeks ago during the Tokyo Game Show. The game is still working, but during this time it managed to present an 8-minute gameplay trailer. It will be an adventure life simulator, even promising multiplayer. The idea for the game was formed from a moment in childhood, when many lazily sat at the table on the weekends with homework or a book and wandered through recently watched cartoons. Sometimes they imagined what it would be like to enter a magical world where ordinary everyday objects, such as notepads, toys or pencils, would become part of an adventure in a miniature world, freed from stress and pressure.
It is thanks to these memories, according to the creators, what if it were possible to relive these moments? What if there was a way to get our site back up and running and still see wonder in the little things? Thus the idea of a secluded corner of the animula was born. The main idea of this game is to offer others a pleasant break from worries – a place to slow down, recharge and rekindle joy in the small and meaningful details of everyday life. All in all, this is exactly what every proper Cozy game should offer players. In this world, we can expect ordinary details that can turn into extraordinary memories. Animula Nook is about finding joy in small miracles and writing your own story – for free and at your own pace.
Gameplay
So what will it look like in this game? Here, players will shrink into miniature characters and be able to explore our vast world exactly like this. First of all, you adapt your character. Based on the available demos, you can choose your skin color, hairstyle or even its color, as well as choose your outfit. Every day you can choose different clothes according to your mood. The creators promise a very wide selection of clothing, accessories, as well as tools and furniture, which will allow you to truly express yourself creatively and these items will become your reflection.
You also choose your companion named Woopa. It is a sort of furball that looks very strikingly like cats. Then you’re ready to go out into the world to explore, and it’s up to you to decide where you go. For example, you’ll visit a desk where you can see small objects like pencils or notepads from a completely different perspective. You can easily build a swimming pool, create a beautiful garden, or arrange a cozy living room where you can invite friends, and so on.
You will again use common and common items for us as building material. Milk crates will become charming houses, tea mugs will become lively cafes, and jars of spices will become a small shop. You simply use almost anything to create your own miniature paradise. Alternatively, you start with a table first and can then extend your creations to window sills, cabinets or even directly inside a living terrarium. But you won’t be closed only on the inside. Sooner or later, you will also go out to explore the garden and surrounding area, where you can discover the beauty of nature for a change. And again, from this small figure’s point of view, you will rediscover the magic of this magical world that is usually hidden from our eyes. You will visit dense forests of indoor plants, plunge into the mysterious depths of a forgotten well and much, much more.

If you give them enough attention and care, you might even persuade them to move in with you. You just need to make sure that you build a space that people will love and be happy in.
Animula Nook made a very good first impression on players and fans of similar games. Not only because of my concept that I mentioned above, but also because of my amazing graphic design. At first glance, the inspiration comes from modern animated films. It’s remarkable how ordinary everyday objects are transformed here in a wonderful building. In the genre of Cozy games and especially in the genre of life simulations, this game was one of the most anticipated. Most players and fans are reminded of games like Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley.

Lillilandia Games is working on this game and this is their first game. However, this studio is part of a much larger company, Tencent Games. You can play Animula Nook on your own, as well as in online collaboration and offer Cross-Play. The game should appear in the computer version (Steam and Epic Games), Mac, Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5. The team has not yet disclosed more specific information, but in the future we will not even talk about other platforms. This will be a free game, so we can also count on in-game purchases.
As for localization, the Czech language in the game has not yet been confirmed, but the creators would like to be happy if as many players as possible can enjoy the game in their native language. They are currently collecting fan feedback on less common languages and will likely be added to the game later. Therefore, it is possible that the Czech Republic will be among them.
