Halo: Master Chief Collection Update Adds Flood Firefight Mode, Co-Op Crossplay

as promised about a week ago343 Industries released the first major update to Halo: The Master Chief Collection 2022 on Monday.

Last year, 343 announced that while MCC was moving away from the Seasonal Updates title following the release of Season 8: Legendary, it was also “not possible” to do a legacy project. Now they seem to have taken the first step towards realizing that promise. From FloodFight’s debut of Halo 3: ODST, in addition to joint cross-play support for Halo 3 and the ODST campaign, here’s a brief description of the April 11 update for Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

The start of the patch is the addition of the Flood to Halo 3: ODST Firefight mod and the fan favorite “FloodFight” playlist.
