Prepare your antidotes! AKI, the newest addition to the Street Fighter™ 6 roster, is coming to PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam starting September 27th! Aki is the 20th playable character in the game, following Rashid’s debut in July of this year.
Like Rashid and all future DLC characters, players will face the full wickedness of AKI in Street Fighter 6’s three modes – World Tour, Fighting Ground, and Battle Hub.
Battle Pass “AKI Arrives!” will also be released for a limited time starting at 4:00 AM PT on September 1st, so players can outfit their favorite character with cosmetic items to match their theme.

Much of AQI’s poisonous personality comes from his master, FANG, first introduced in Street Fighter™ V. In the World Tour mode, players will be able to learn more about AQI’s interest in the evil organization Shadaloo and help them find a medicinal herb in Tian Hong. Nightshade Pulse: AKI fires a bubble forward that also poisons enemies it hits. Exploding early with Nightshade Chaser allows AKI to increase the range of this attack.
orchid spring: AKI creates a pool of poison in front of him that will affect any opponent who dares to step into it.
Sinister slide: Swipe the screen to avoid threats as you move forward and perform combos like Poison Fang, Heel Kick, or Grab.
Yazi’s Claws: AKI Level 3 Super Art pierces various pressure points on the opponent’s body and injects poison that dangerously explodes from the inside.
AKI and his elegant suit 2 will be available on September 27th to owners of the Year 1 Character Pass, Deluxe Edition or Ultimate Edition of the game. You can also try the AQI poison for an hour using the Fighter Loan Ticket, which can be obtained through the Battle Pass.
