Capcom announced closing from Monster Hunter RidersThe free installment of the Monster Hunter saga, released a little over two years ago in February 2020, big failure. Available for iOS and Android systems, it followed Monster Hunter Stories in graphic style, but although it winked fans of the series with monsters and heroes taken from the main episodes, it shouldn’t have convinced almost anyone, and it’s in June 2022. It will close its doors, as the Japanese broadcaster announced.
Starting today, all in-game purchases will be disabled. Capcom justified its ruling by stating that it could not give players the desired experience due to unspecified external factors, but it’s easy to imagine that its user base is too low to justify its existence.
Monster Hunter Riders never came out of Japan, so we’re guessing Westerners who want to at least try it will be disappointed in its failure. This Server It will close on June 16, 2022, after which the game will be inaccessible. Of course there will be no offline mode.
Now anyone with orbs (game currency) can request a refund by following the instructions provided by Capcom. Anyone who has already spent loses everything.
