Obsidian’s bug-ridden survival game Grounded is now Steam Deck Verified, and Game Pass, the PC favorite, is now even cheaper. While you can use the power of the cloud to play a little adventure in Valve’s portable powerhouse, the new Steam version status means you shouldn’t experience any hardware issues.
Initially, there was no official support for the Grounded Steam Deck, as it was listed as “Not Supported”. This does not necessarily mean that the game cannot be played, but the above crashes could break the game on your handheld. However, it looks like those manual bugs have been fixed, as co-op play is now considered “awesome on deck.”
Obsidian’s blog post states that “the team may have been based on the official Steam Deck support list,” which means they now wear a shiny “Verified” badge. To celebrate this achievement, the developer is hosting a free weekend from April 27 to May 1, which should give you a taste of handheld.

Of course, if you already have a PC Game Pass subscription, you can play Grounded on Steam Deck for free. Capture?
