What are the system requirements for Valorant? You won’t need a powerful platform to run a free FPS game, but meeting the minimum specs can lead to performance issues. So if you’d rather boost your frame rate, use every crazy frame, and help your Valorant hero reach his true potential, you should double check your PC specs.
Meet Valorant minimum requirementstechnically, you don’t need a graphics card at all. Riot says you’ll be able to hit 30fps with an iGPU like the AMD Radeon R5 200, Intel HD 400, or something with 1GB of memory. Combine that with at least 4GB of VRAM and you’re technically good to go, but performance is on par with the PlayStation 3.
These are the system requirements for Valorant:
Minimum (30fps) |
recommended (60fps) |
high quality (144+fps) |
|
HE | windows 7 64 bit | windows 10 64 bit | windows 10 64 bit |
CPU | Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 AMD Athlon 200GE |
Intel Core i3 4150 AMD Ryzen 3 1200 |
Intel Core i5 9400F AMD Ryzen 5 2600X |
GPUs | AMD Radeon R5 200 intel hd4000 |
nvidia geforce gt 730 AMD Radeon R7 240 |
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti AMD Radeon R7 370 |
RAM | 4GB | 4GB | 4GB |
storage | 20GB | 20GB | 20GB |
even if you want to do titrant 60fps gameplay, you won’t need an expensive GPU. The developer says you can get optimal frame rates with an Nvidia GeForce GT 730 or AMD Radeon R7 240 and still only need 1GB of VRAM.
However, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t pick up one of our best graphics cards, as you’ll be able to use Nvidia Reflex if you have a GTX 900 series GPU or newer. Using something like the GTX 1050 Ti will not only help you experiment valorant 144fps game, but it will also give you access to Nvidia Reflex, a GeForce feature that will push hardware-related latency to its limits.
Unfortunately, support for Nvidia DLSS and AMD FSR scaling is irrelevant. So if you need a frame rate boost, we recommend checking out the best Valorant settings to pick the ideal setup for your rig.
In terms of storage, you will need at least 20 GB. Brave Size Riot doesn’t say if using SSDs will make a difference, but choosing the best SSD for gaming will benefit your rig in the long run.
