This galactic-themed rig could be the perfect Starfield gaming PC

The perfect Starfield gaming PC has potentially arisen when a modder has created an unusual rig that houses a galactic diorama inside. The special PC not only features an adorable animatronic astronaut and twinkling stars, but also a water-cooled Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti cleverly hidden inside a spaceship model.

Naturally, you’ll need to meet Starfield’s system requirements to run the Interstellar RPG when you land. However, we maintain that building the best gaming PC is as much about aesthetics as it is about performance, and we’re always looking for unique builds that pay homage to our favorite adventures. While exploring the vast galaxy of Bethesda will take some time, the perfect PC for the job already exists.

Nvidia’s latest GeForce Garage features the Galaxy Box, a space rig from Josiah Fast of Maximum Bubble Mods with amazing innards. Instead of using RGB lighting, the interstellar stage uses 400 strands of fiber optics to create a starry background that mimics the feeling of deep space.

As mentioned above, inside the platform lives a small pilot Barbie doll, sitting in her very own spaceship with an RTX 3080 Ti as its engine. Normally, she would expect PC fans to be the first to turn their heads when looking at the hull, but the figure’s legs, dangling happily over the edge of the ship, will catch her eye first.

This build aims to tell you a sci-fi story rather than high-tech details as every component is hidden somewhere in the scene. Even the water-cooled tank looks like a seedy space restaurant, and we can only hope that Starfield has equally convenient establishments floating around.

It’s worth noting that Josiah Fast says this setup is designed specifically for his wife, who loves retro sci-fi. Of course, if you like looking at hardware details as much as pretty kit, you’ll find an EVGA Z690 Classified motherboard, an Intel Core i9-12900K processor, 32GB of G.Skill DDR5 RAM, and a WD Black SN750 SSD. back. We think that will be more than enough to get Starfield up and running, but it will also help you quickly enjoy the best new PC games.

If you like unique custom PC builds, we recommend checking out what Fast has to say in the latest issue of the GeForce Garage. We also have huge fans of this sleepy RTX 4090 PC featured on the YouTube channel because it looks like an eMachines PC from the 1990s.

Can’t wait for the Starfield release date? We’ve got everything you need to know about the upcoming sci-fi RPG.
