While WoW Dragonflight Update 10.1 has a lot to explore, including a whole new area filled with quests and more, one of the best additions was made even better with the opening of Dragon Hats. That’s right, Blizzard’s long-running fantasy MMORPG will now let you unlock dragon helmet customizations by befriending WoW’s adorable new mole, Niffen.
Renown bounties from Loamm Niffen are very useful and give you plenty of reasons to befriend the scent creatures. There’s Snail Racing, a new Morsel Sniffer mount, plenty of item upgrade materials, and even the ability to brand yourself with the coveted title of “stinker.” My favorite though is the dragon helmets for your dragon slayer friends.
The ability to customize your mount’s helmet in WoW has been visible since the release of WoW Dragonflight, but will now be available in WoW 10.1 (via Wowhead). There are several options available for various mounts that work well with existing armor sets.
You can unlock the dragon riding helmet customization in WoW Dragonflight by reaching Renown level 19 with the Niffen faction. Riding Dragonflight is perhaps one of the best parts of Dragonflight, so I’m glad to see our trusty companions getting a little more head protection so nothing can touch their cute snouts as we fly over the Dragon Isles.
