League of Legends Milio release date is right around the corner, and we’ve got a rundown of everything you need to know, including her powers and backstory. It’s been a long time since Riot gave the League of Legends community some new wizard support; a true team player who exists to enrich the lives of everyone around him, unless he is on the opposing team.
In the past two years, plenty of new champions have been released in the free-to-play game on PC, from top laner K’Sante to surly little mid laner Vex. However, it’s been a long time since we’ve had a proper supporting character in the popular MOBA, something Milio’s release will fix. This young man from Ixtal has mastered the Axiom of Fire, which he can use to aid his team with range-increasing abilities and an ultimate breakthrough.
LoL Milio release date
While champion builds are always subject to change, Milio’s PBE release date is currently set for March 7, with a full release scheduled for March 22.
Milio LoL Abilities
Milio has a simple but effective set. He can shield allies, speed them up, increase their range, and even enhance their attacks. He also has a fair bit of crowd control, so keeping your bot lane partner alive shouldn’t be a problem. Milio’s Abilities:
- Fired! (Passive): Milio’s abilities enchant allies on hit, causing his next damage to deal bonus damage and setting the target on fire.
- Ultra Mega Fire Strike (A): Milio kicks the ball, which pushes the enemy back. The bullet rises on impact and falls towards the enemy, dealing damage and slowing enemies in an area of impact.
- Cozy Campfire (W): Milio creates an area of buff that heals allies and increases the attack range of those within. The area tracks the closest ally to the cast point.
- Warm Embrace (E): Milio throws a shield at an ally, temporarily increasing their movement speed.
- Breath of Life (R) Milio unleashes a wave of calming flames that heals and removes crowd control from allies in the area.

Hailing from a remote town on the border of Ixtal, Milio strives to restore his family’s reputation after their exile generations ago. He is a good-natured boy whose positive outlook on the world has allowed him to master the Axiom of Fire. While many people see the destructive power of fire, Milio only sees the healing nature of flame; a hot fire, the ability to create wonderful dishes and a life that rises from the ashes.
It’s unclear how League of Legends’ Milio will fit into the meta and if he’ll end up at the top of LoL’s tier list, but it’s nice to have such a useful champion added to the roster; one that isn’t obsessed with mangling your opponent’s limbs and should be perfect for all beginners, as well as those on our list of the best LoL champions for beginners.
