If you play through the Lightfall campaign and delve into the DLC content, you’ll come across a six-step quest as you navigate through the Season of Defiance content. This quest will take you through the story of Stargazer, mathematician turned Cloud Strider.
Destiny 2 Stargazer mission will also introduce you to Destiny 2 Terminal Overload, a season 20 mission. Here is everything you need to know to complete the mission in FPS game.
Destiny 2 Stargazer – how to cross
The Destiny 2 Stargazer quest unlocks the ability to complete the Terminal Overload Neomuna public event and earn Terminal Overload keys. You will receive this quest from Quinn in the Hall of Heroes.
You will then complete a series of quest steps that serve as a walkthrough of the event and how to complete it to receive rewards.
After receiving the quest from Quinn, you will need to do the following:
- Search the chest with the terminal overload.
- Defeat Vex Hydra at the Esy Terminal to get the secret code.
- Use the key to open the chest with the terminal overload keys.
- Complete the Lightfall campaign and earn Terminal Overload Key and Terminal rewards. (Do Terminal Overload three times to complete one bounty and open the Terminal Overload Key Chest to complete another.)
- Restoring the Monument to the Astrologer.
- Visit the Archivist in the Hall of Heroes.
After completing these steps, you will complete the quest and you can proceed with the Destiny 2 Maelstrom quest.
Stargazer Quest steps in Destiny 2
If you want to complete the Destiny 2 Stargazer quest, here is a description of what you need to do.
Steal a chest with terminal overload
You don’t need a key to complete this quest, so load up the “Terminal Overload” destination marker on the Neomunas map and fast travel directly to the event. Team up with other Guardians to complete it, then collect the chest at the end of the task.
Get a security password
You can start this stage by using the marker on the Neomunas destination map. This will give you a terminal recharge key.
Open trunk with terminal overload
To complete this stage, you must first get the rewards indicated on the game space. The Terminal Overload Key reward requires the Terminal Overload to be completed three times, and the Terminal Overload reward requires the key in the chest to be used last as well. Using this key will also grant you additional activity rewards, including Neomuna weapons that will change throughout the season.
Restoring the Astrologer’s Memorial
After completing the previous stage, you can go to the Astrologer’s Memorial to restore the monument in the Hall of Heroes, which will provide you with some knowledge so that you can better understand the history of the Astrologer and Neomuna.
Visit Quinn the Archivist
You will then visit Quinn in the Hall of Heroes, completing this quest and leading you to the Maelstrom quest.
