Square Enix has launched a huge FFXIV sale and now it’s time to find out why it is often referred to as one of the best MMORPGs of all time. With deep discounts on the base game and its expansions, it’s a great opportunity to get started for the first time, upgrade if you enjoyed the free trial, or go back and watch Endwalker if you get distracted.
But wait, I hear you exclaim, doesn’t the critically acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV have a free trial that includes all of A Realm Reborn and the award-winning Heavensward expansion with no play time limit? Yes, as you may have heard, if you’ve spent a lot of time online, that’s true, but there’s so much more to FFXIV than those first two story arcs, and what’s better than now?
Alternatively, you may already be playing the free trial and want to purchase the full version. as long as there is are there is no game time limit and you can level up to level 60, you are quite limited in some aspects when playing with a free account. No free business membership (FFXIV guild system), no direct messages to other players, no item storage fees, no access to player markets to buy and sell gear, there are certainly many advantages to upgrading.
The FFXIV Endwalker expansion is 50% off, just like its digital Collector’s Edition. Both also include two previous expansions, Stormblood and Shadowbringers, the latter featuring some of the best content in the game’s history. It does not matter which one RPG period, although you do need a copy of the starter version of the game to play it. If you’ve never bought FFXIV before, don’t worry: the Starter Edition, Complete Edition, and Complete Collector’s Edition are also 50% off.
The Complete Edition of FFXIV is what you need if you don’t already have the base game, and it will give you everything in the current edition of the game plus 30 days of game time. Of course, it’s important to note that once you’ve purchased, you’ll need an active subscription to play, so if you haven’t sold 100%, stick with the free trial for now.
FFXIV Spring Sale with Discounts
