CRSFTONgame developer PUBG: Battlegroundspresents the next chapter of the competitive scene in Europe PUBG Esports: PUBG EMEA Championship (PEC).
The PEC racing season will be divided into two divisions. The first event of this year will be PEC: Spring, which will start with a large round of open qualifiers. The best teams from across Europe and the MEA region will compete for a share of the $100,000 prize pool, PGC Points, 2 PGS slots and the glory of the best team in the EMEA region.
In addition to the three previously announced global partner teams, the EMEA region will partner with five other regional teams who will receive a direct invitation to the PEC playoffs. EMEA partner teams for 2023: ACEND CLUB, BBL Esports, Digital Athletics, Entropiq, FaZe Clan, FUT Esports, NAVI, Twisted Minds. These teams were selected based on their history and commitment, as well as their overall vision for the EMEA PUBG esports scene.
In addition, Wildcards will be available throughout the year. Teams participating in selected third-party tournaments will receive EMEA wildcards, the winners of which will receive an invitation to the later stages of upcoming PEC tournaments. Tournament organizers will be able to apply for inclusion in the EMEA Wildcard program.
At the Spring 2023 PEC, the eight partner teams will be joined by 14 other teams and two wildcard teams, bringing the total to 24 teams.
