On the G2 Esports official website, CEO Alban Deschelottecommented on the creation of a new team League of Legends: Wild Rift blacklisted by G2 : “We’re bringing together the best from East and West to take the new esports competition by storm. As two big winning organizations, the partnership between G2 and Blacklist was built with great ambition. Blacklist is a winning team full of successful people who have helped them dominate the market mobile esports Asia is where Wild Rift needs to succeed and we wanted to be a part of that and introduce the G2 team to our fans in the region.”
To celebrate the partnership, G2 will be releasing a limited series of illustrations created by Filipino toy designer, illustrator and graffiti artist Quicks. This will be the first piece of G2 Blacklist content documenting the team’s path to qualifying for the Wild Rift League Asia.
