WoW Dragonflight Patch Celebrates Death Knights, Mage Hobbyists, and More

Blizzard updated the WoW Dragonflight patch notes for February 7, giving us a look at some of the changes coming to World of Warcraft next week. The last extension to this is a huge aubaine for one of the most appreciated MMORPGs and the best of all times, and most classes receive significant improvements while Blizzard continues to refine the classes after the WoW Dragonflight 10.0.5 patch sortie end of January.

There’s a huge wave of changes coming your way, so be sure to check out the full patch notes below to see how it’s affected your favorite WoW class. First off, here are some great Death Knight buffs that should improve his damage for Blood and Frost specs. Warlock buffs also improve his damage output by various specs, with a focus on the ability to deal damage to individual targets.

The multiple perks on the Guardian Druid should help improve his overall survivability, especially against certain damage types. However, this is not good news for other Druid specs, as Resto Druid’s nerfs reduce the effectiveness of his healing. The Preservation Evoker nerfs also reduce the healing power of the new Dragonflight class, but you’ll get better healing elsewhere thanks to buffs from Mistweaver Monk, Holy Priest, and Resto Shaman.

The Hunter buffs also give the class a nice damage boost across the three main specs for Hunter and their pet abilities. Prot Paladin buffs are the last regular tweaks that greatly improve the damage dealt by this spec.

There are also plenty of PvP class setups. Much of this is to make up for game-wide changes to classes that perform as well as would be desirable in PvP content like Evoker. Blizzard says they also made changes to abilities and talents with effects that they felt were miscommunicated or inconsistent, in an effort to standardize the behavior of such abilities.

WoW Community Manager “Kaivax” notes, “Due to the nature of our internal testing, some of these changes will also appear in PTR 10.0. version 10.0.5.
