Developers sons of the forest once again they have not kept their promise, they are not keeping up and will be forced to postpone their expected survival again. But they go for it out of the woods and instead of postponing, they decided to release the game in early access.
The sequel to The Forest, which has been in Early Access for four years, will be released in Early Access on Steam on February 23 this year. This way, fans can start playing and creators can tweak and fix everything, as well as add new mechanics, items, etc.

It is planned that version 1.0 will appear in about 6-8 months.. If necessary, this deadline will be extended. At launch, the Early Access version will offer a single-player mode as well as co-op multiplayer for up to eight players.
As for the price, it will remain the same even after the release of the final version of the game.
Sons of the Forest is currently only announced for PC, with a console release expected at a later date. Among other things, the game boasts several new mechanics such as companions controlled by artificial intelligence, redesigned structure and dynamic seasons. There’s also a new story set on an island four times the size of the Forest.
