Will there be Hogwarts Legacy mods?
There is currently no official support for Hogwarts Legacy mods. Whether or not Hogwarts Legacy will have Steam Workshop integration from launch hasn’t been announced, so whether or not that path pans out will depend on the creativity of the Harry Potter modding community.
If mod support is officially added, we’ll soon see plenty of new beasts, spells, and even new characters to interact with. Can’t you make this strange potion with books? No doubt someone will. For some games, completely new campaigns have even been created to rival the original story – the possibilities with mods are endless.
We’ll know more about the mods once Hogwarts Legacy’s release date hits, and this guide will be updated as more information becomes available. The creator of the Harry Potter series, JK Rowling, has made several transphobic comments on social media in recent years. At Warner Bros. there is a license to make games based on Harry Potter.
