A new Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 patch has been released, covering both Warzone and Modern Warfare 2. It includes fixes for a list of minor issues, but finally resolves a visual glitch that has plagued FPS game players for the past month: a contactless chat. Bug that caused speaker names to stay on the screen and overlap, making them unreadable.

This visual bug has been a problem for at least the last month and appeared on the Call of Duty Warzone Trello page in late December. The player’s name would appear in the chat window when they started talking in chat, but their name would stay on the screen even when other players were talking. As a result, multiple player names were overlapping on top of each other, making them unreadable.

This has now been fixed, along with several other annoying bugs reported by Warzone players. Infinity Ward also fixed an issue with ranged challenges not working correctly when opponents used the Last Stand perk, which should be good news for all camo hunters out there.

In the DMZ, Infinity Ward has removed the mirroring exploit and fixed a number of other bugs, and overall there should be fewer crashes in the game client. The studio also says it has made some improvements to Battle Pass map navigation and added a feature to highlight unspent tokens.

Full patch notes are available on the official Call of Duty site.
