The Tower of Fantasy 2.3 update is coming soon to the open-world animated MMORPG, as developer Hotta Studio shows us a new map and monsters in the ToF 2.3 Wandering Miasma update trailer. The update also celebrates the sixth anniversary of Tower of Fantasy’s worldwide release, which the team plans to celebrate with “a host of events and rewards for players,” including Dark Cores and Crystals to help you level up in Tower of Fantasy.
The Tower of Fantasy update 2.3 release date is February 2.. The next ToF patch is called “Wandering the Miasma” and it includes new story content, creatures, bosses and more on the new map. Miasmic Swamp is the next pretty cool area of Faith we’ll be exploring in Update 2.3, and Hotta tells us that it’s filled with “stony valleys and rainforest-like vegetation,” making it a leap from the previous one. the parched deserts of Vera and the neon-lit streets of Mirroria.
The update promises new interactive items to find in the miasmatic swamp, among which looking particularly appealing are “bright neon mushrooms and mysterious egg devices”; Hotta says that they are going to introduce a new puzzle-solving mechanic that should make it difficult to explore the swampy part of Faith.
In Update 2.3, two new Tower of Fantasy bosses will join the fight. Jörmungandr is a fierce Claymore wielder who wears a wide-brimmed hat that gives him the features of Lady Dimitreska, while Eve is a mysterious volt-tuned world boss who uses her iron antennae to deadly effect. You’ll need to keep an eye out for their many phases as you work as a team to defeat them.
There will also be three new instances in Update 2.3. In Carnival Party, your tramp will have a unique battle with a band that uses guitar and voice to attack you. In search of destiny, you race between meetings in a high-speed racing car. Finally, Origin of War is a seasonal multiplayer event where you climb towers together.
