The fifth story pack is coming to the strategy Stellaris. Paradox Interactive introduced First contact.
DLC focuses on alien civilizations at a lower level of technological development. These are sub-light civilizations that have not yet developed the technology to travel faster than light. We will see them both from their point of view and from the point of view of their observers.
Because of this, the developers have created new ways to interact with civilizations and other features, including new cloaking technology. You can count on new stories that will turn you away from contact with an alien civilization, and also that contact with a space alien civilization will lead your own species to understand how to fly into space.
The first contact does not yet have a set release date. It will arrive with the update Small Dog.
