Wildcard Hunt Showdown Inferno Flash February

Hunt Showdown Inferno has been raging since December, a new “wild condition” that can be triggered on each of the survival game’s maps, setting large areas ablaze. Developer Crytek has made some adjustments to the frequency of Inferno Wildcard, increasing the amount of Inferno Fridays and calming things down a bit for the remaining weeks.

“Inferno” is part of Devil’s Moon, which is the final installment in the Hunt: Showdown’s Moon seasonal event series. When the wildcard condition is active, parts of the map burn down, making some routes impassable and adding visual drama to each scene.

Crytek says that it is making some adjustments to how often it will appear in the coming weeks based on player feedback on the event. While Hell Fridays will remain with a 100% chance to trigger the condition until February 10, other weekdays have a reduced chance of a raging wildfire from 50% to 25%.

Hell Fridays start at 7:00am PT / 10:00am ET / 3:00pm GMT and last for 24 hours, so the fire risk will drop back to 25% next Saturday until February 11.

The Devil’s Moon event will end on February 15, when we’ll have to see what else Crytek has in store.
