W7M Esports, a traditional e-sports organization, has been named Organization of the Year at the 2022 Rainbow Six Siege Awards, the biggest sports award in the national arena. With great prominence in major competitions, the organization received the award for the first time in its history.

In addition, the individual performances of the team’s players also paid off, guaranteeing awards in several other categories: Volpz was chosen as the discovery of the year, IgorCTG as the best coach, and Kheyze as the best BR6 player and MVP overall. Finally, Kheyze and Volpz also entered the Dream Team of the year, a category that selects the best players of the season.
Felipe Funari, the organization’s COO and CEO, said he was proud of the team’s year and highlighted the organization’s collective achievement of the year: “Within W7M Esports, nothing is built alone. W7M Esports has gained a lot of prominence in the Rainbow Six Siege scene in 2022. The organization became EliteSix champion, finished second in Brasileirão de R6 and qualified for all major tournaments. In addition, the organization broke an unprecedented record during Jonkoping by guaranteeing a place in the play-offs without losing a single dispute in the group stage and guaranteeing all points with a score of 18/0.
The team also broke national records, as in the first leg of BR6, when the Bulls broke the highest mark in points scored in a single leg, guaranteeing 24 points in nine rounds, with eight wins and only one loss.
