We’ve got a release date for Final Fantasy 16 on PC, though we’ll have to wait a bit longer to play the next installment in the JRPG series than on PlayStation 5. The new ‘Revenge’ trailer shown at The Game Awards 2022 reveals the PS5 la date is June 22, 2023, but FF16’s six-month exclusivity window means we probably won’t be playing it on our gaming PCs until later in the year.

A small footnote at the end of the trailer states that the game is “unavailable on other platforms until 12/31/2023.” Considering that December 31 is the last day of the year, it seems to be a fictitious date, and in fact, we will see a PC version of Final Fantasy 16 in early 2024. We hope that happens. arriving just in time for us to welcome in the new year, however.

Square Enix said that even though it tells a more realistic story, you can still expect to see Final Fantasy 16 Moogles. Stay tuned to PCGamesN for more information on this and other titles coming in 2023.
