Two new third-party Steam Deck accessories are in development to make Valve’s portable gaming PC even more versatile. The next two products are developed by the creator of Deckmate, the popular all-in-one supplement.
Although the best Steam Deck is the most requested addition to a device, there are more and more unofficial packs available every day. Designer Deckmate, known as Sea_Minerals on Reddit, showed off some new additions and asked other users to vote on which one should be released first.
One is a handy cargo organizer that neatly stores your turntable cable and plug, plus an additional microSD card holder. One Reddit user suggests taking steps to make it compatible with plugs around the world, including those in the EU and the UK. In response, Sea_Minerals said that the plugin will work with all adapters and that the photos are not representative of the finished product.
The second accessory is no less useful. It’s basically a Steam Deck phone mount that uses a GoPro mount. So if you want to watch something while playing on Valve’s machine, your wishes will soon come true. It can not only be used on the deck itself, but is also compatible with the Deckmate adapter.
We’ve talked in the past about how the creator is working on new third-party Steam Deck accessories, so it sounds like these two are the fruit of his labor. He must know that the Reddit thread is now locked, which means it’s no longer upvoted. However, it seems that the cable organizer has been highlighted, so expect it to arrive soon.
