Silent Hill 2 Remake screenshots have leaked online.
The screenshots are incredibly poor quality, but some Silent Hill 2 iconography is visible, including the nurse at Brookhaven Hospital tending to enemies. The footage appears to show the third-person perspective of the main character, James Sunderland. Although the character’s hair is different, James’ green jacket is clearly visible. The game was reportedly developed by the Bloober team at Layers of Fear studio.

Screenshots posted on Twitter André Marmo, reportedly leaked by the Bloober team as part of an internal conversation before the project was greenlit. According to ResetEra’s Dusk Golem poster, the images are apparently “not even close to the final product.”
“When Konami was looking for a site in the summer of 2018, I noticed it was one of the green-lit sites,” the user continued. “But accept it as it is; A proof of concept is not a budget demonstration for using the concept. »
The Bloober team signed a deal last year with Silent Hill owner Konami that allows Bloober to “develop games from existing and new IPs” owned by Konami. The publisher also recently announced that it will be making a new entry in the “World’s Favorites” series at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show. It is not yet clear if this will be an entry for Silent Hill. The opening will take place on September 16 at 3:30 p.m. JST.
