The announcement of the Phantom Liberty expansion certainly made a lot of Cyberpunk 2077 fans happy. However, today’s news will not make many fans happy. The Polish XGP server managed to capture a statement from one of the developers under the Phantom Liberty DLC teaser, in which he claims that this will be the only expansion planned. So if, like me, you were hoping that over time we would see, for example, lines focused on some of the popular characters in this universe, you are probably out of luck. At least we won’t get them through the official route. It’s a little surprising, because at least initially it was imagined that Cyberpunk 2077 would be not bad at all in terms of content after the release.
But then there was a big trouble in the form of the release of the version for old consoles, because of which the upcoming and in fact the last expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 will not be visible outside of the PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. So Jackie and the others are out of luck, we won’t hear from them again.
