Hard drives are compatible with the minimum system requirements for Hogwarts Legacy, but developer Avalanche Software recommends installing the game on the best SSD for gaming.
In the additional notes section of the game’s Steam page, links to high-end settings suggest that AMD FSR, Nvidia DLSS, or some other technique will be present to increase framerates. This will benefit everyone, whether you’re using a basic GPU or the best graphics card.

However, those with less than 8GB of VRAM may struggle to maintain consistent performance levels or run the game, as Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 or AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 are the minimum specs required.
