Today, Diablo 2: Resurrection RTP for patch 2.5 will start. We are happy to announce a new experimental feature that will be tested during RTP called Terror zones. This will be an additional feature that will add a new way for players to work their way up to level 99 throughout the seasons.

Every hour, Hellfire’s armies focus their terror on a specific area, causing all monsters in that area to level up and increase in power, as well as prompting players to explore various locations in Sanctuary.
