Getting the Intel Arc A380 GPU was tricky because the blue team card is only available in China. However, it appears that at least one board partner is now preparing to launch a budget pixel booster in the US, making it available in more than one country for the first time.
Following the announcement earlier this month that ASRock was making Intel Arc A380 graphics cards, the GPU has since appeared on Newegg. At $139.99, this pixel-pushing device directly competes with the AMD Radeon RX 6400 and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650, far from the best graphics cards on the market today.
If you want to put the Intel Arc A380 in your gaming PC, you’ll have to wait until August 22 for the card to arrive, according to Newegg’s ETA. That said, you’re probably better off saving your money before the expected price drop for AMD’s Radeon RX 6000 and Nvidia RTX 3000 GPUs.
If you have money to spare, AMD’s RDNA 3 and Nvidia RTX 4000 graphics cards are just around the corner and should blow away any Intel Arc Alchemist GPU.
