The Halo Infinite August Drop Pod arrives on August 9, bringing fans new content and cosmetics. 343 Industries has announced the next patch. “This update is intended to expand the customization options for each player, include quality of life improvements, and lay the groundwork for even more community-requested features.”
One of the first cosmetic features is visors.

Sights will now work on all cores.
“Currently in the game there are a lot of visors divided into 5 armor sets. If you want to use the shiny golden Noble visor (which was locked on the Mark V until now). [B] Armor Core) to finish looking at all the other cores, you can do this when the August Drop Pod lands. This means that all straps currently in-game and all future visors will work on all helmets of all armor cores.
The preview also shows some add-ons on some headsets, giving players more options.
“In terms of the multiplayer experience, this update will make it easier for us to introduce Ranked Playlists in the future. Additionally, the Social Team Pairs playlist will accompany Ranked Pairs on launch day, meaning Halo Infinite will be twice the fun of 2v2.
Finally, the 343 brought new UI additions to some menus, including the pause menu.
