Alice in the world of the Internet
Lorena Queiroz, Joao Guilherme, Pietra Quintela, Pedro Miranda and Bibi Tatto join this cyber adventure inspired by the classic Alice in Wonderland. The production was done entirely in color, with digital sets and special effects, which is unprecedented for children’s productions in the country. In her first feature film, Lorena Queiroz plays Alice, a famous YouTuber. Her life changes when an unknown virus sucks Alice into her computer. “The idea was not to create a realistic universe, but in a digital gaming environment full of fantasy,” says director Fabricio Bittar (How to Hack Your Boss, Bugados and Camp Intergalaxy).

Everything is fine
(Everything went well)
The new film directed by François Ozon is considered one of his best works thanks to the acclaimed cast of French cinema and the first-class performances of André Dussolier, Sophie Marceau and Geraldine Payat. It’s All Right, inspired by the book by Emmanuele Bernheim, describes a family drama: a sick father who asks his two daughters to help him die. With issues touched upon periodically, such as family ties and aging (as seen in the award-winning “My Father” and “The Farewell”), Ozone prefers to bring euthanasia and its moral consequences in a natural and impartial way. From a new angle, the director captures the close and dynamic family relationship between two daughters who want to fulfill their father’s request.
