Since the release of the first film over 40 years ago, the saga star Wars influenced cinema and culture, winning over thousands of fans and inspiring audiences of all ages around the world with its legendary storytelling, endearing characters, groundbreaking special effects and Oscar® winner John Williams’ iconic and timeless musical compositions. Among the stories already told in this rich universe, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back remains in great renown, fans remember him with great affection for his great revelations, plot twists and of course unforgettable musical themes such as “Yoda and the Force”as well as “The Imperial March”, a track recognizable even by those who do not follow the franchise.
With the approval of the author of the original work, STAR WARS: THE EMPIRE Strikes Back is a concert of the famous Villa Lobos Symphony Orchestra, which, under the musical direction and regency of a Brazilian conductor Adriano Machadowill be performed simultaneously with the screening of the iconic film by an 82-piece orchestra, creating an immersive and unforgettable audio-visual experience that will happily salvage all the magic that has united it as one of the favorites of the entire Skywalker saga.

As Imperial forces launch an all-out assault on the Rebel Alliance, Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) flee to Cloud City, where they are captured by Darth Vader. Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) travels to the mysterious swamp planet Dagobah, where the wise Jedi Master Yoda teaches the young hero the ways of the Force. What Luke cannot imagine is that his Jedi training will be needed very soon.
