Square Enix announced a new one statue dedicated 2D, NieR’s most famous character: Automata. You can also pre-order the statue. The World from Final Fantasy VI In the US, it comes at a totally insane price, at least for the average person. But let’s go in order.
The 2D statue is currently only available in Japan for 121,000 yen (about $875). It will go on sale December 31, 2022 (possibly a placeholder date, but you never know) and is engraved in 1:4 scale. So 52 centimeters high. It also has an alternate head without a tracer. White was chosen as the color of the dress, as seen on SoulCalibur.
We had already reported on the Terra statue at the time of opening reservations in Japan. We then reported that the price was 1,485,000 yen, or $10,730 at the current exchange rate. Unfortunately, with the opening of reservations in the US came a nasty surprise: You’ll have to spend $13,800, or about $3,000 more than the original price, to get it.
Given its 1/6th scale dimensions and the fact that only 600 units will be produced, it turns out that this is an object dedicated solely to collecting, and therefore to a particular market. Anyway, if you have that much money left, you might consider it.
