The Immortal Empires release date has finally been set. Combining the factions featured in all three Total Warhammer strategy games, Total War: Warhammer 3’s massive combined sandbox campaign will enter beta on August 23.
The Creative Assembly Total Warhammer team announced the release date in a video response to their Reddit AMA session, waiting until the end of the video to make an announcement.
The video provides new details on what to expect from Immortal Empires; for example, Empire and Vampire Counts have received slight revisions to their tech trees, and the rest of the factions from older games have received a “tint”. also. Creative Assembly says they don’t expect a “total overhaul” of these factions, like the one Beastmen received, but efforts have been made to get them all fit and in line with modern Warhammer 3 standards.
