AfroGames is a finalist of CCXP Awards 2022

Created in partnership with Grupo Cultural AfroReggae, AfroGames is a finalist for the CCXP Awards 2022. Nominated in the Best Organization category, the Rio de Janeiro-based project will make its debut in the awards and compete against big names like Furia, Loud, Pain Gaming and Red Canids. William Reis, Project Director, will be the NGO’s representative at the celebration and will accompany the announcement of the winners, which will take place next Friday, July 15 from 19:00 at an in-person event at Sala São. Paulo.

For William, the honor of having AfroGames alongside major organizations on the national and international stage shows that the project is moving in the right direction and fulfilling its original purpose of providing opportunities to those in need. “We are thrilled to be in the final of this grand prize, CCXP is a world renowned event and we at AfroGames are honored to be a part of this great party. At the same time, we understand that our goal of saving youth and children through games is in the right direction,” says the director.

The communities of Mare, Morro do Timbau and Vigario Geral in Rio de Janeiro have over 300 students. This project provides young people with opportunities through programming courses and games. AfroGames also has professional LoL, Fortnite and Free Fire teams that compete in professional tournaments including Brazilian Free Fire League (LBFF) Series C.
