Another Thursday means it’s time for another change of free PC games on the Epic Games Store. This week you can get free copies of Iratus: Lord of the Dead, Hood: Outlaws and Legends, and Geneforge 1’s awesome retro sci-fi RPG: Mutagen. Next week you’ll want to ditch the mop and bucket, because co-op Killing Floor 2 is going free on July 7th.

Killing Floor 2 is a cooperative wave-based shooter that pits you and a few teammates against huge hordes of chattering undead. Tripwire Interactive has paid close attention to Killing Floor 2’s weapon blueprints and reviews, and there’s an argument to be made that it features one of the most satisfying shotguns in gaming, especially when you’ve triggered “Zed time” with a shot to the head well placed, slow down. Slow motion John Woo action.

You can customize your characters with gear, perks, and accessories, and teamwork is key to survival, especially once you reach one of Killing Floor 2’s boss levels.

You’ll also be able to pick up a copy of the deckbuilding RPG Ancient Enemy starting on July 7, which has a lot less cleanup after a few turns.
