The Fall Guys have announced their final live event, the Spartan Showdown, on June 14, 2022. The event will begin on June 30. Official Twitter post.
The limited-time event, which will end on July 4, is a clear homage to the Spartans from Bungie’s Halo series. Watch the YouTube video below to see the official event trailer.
Gameplay-wise, Fall Guys couldn’t be different from any of the Halo franchises. This event, in addition to being an unnecessary marketing move, seems to be used to popularize the Fall Guys. Stream on Xbox and SwitchThis happened a week ago, June 21. The new season also includes many new features such as new rounds and a season pass, and is free to play.
It would undoubtedly be odd for PlayStation players to run a halo-themed character from a rival console, but only for a short while. Players on any console will be thrilled with the many Spartan theme challenges to earn various rewards with the Spartan theme.
