F1 Crossplay 22
F1 22 will not have crossplay at launch but will be added at a later date† According to Lee Mather, Senior Creative Director at Codemasters, the reason the feature wasn’t available at launch is that the team behind the racing simulator’s cross-play feature is based in Ukraine, and development has been halted when Russia invaded the country.
Mather said implementing the feature will take “longer than expected” and will “now come after release.” It always had to happen sooner, but there were things we couldn’t control.
