Fall Guys managed to reach a very healthy player count and reached 20 million players within days of switching to free-to-play.

The official Fall Guys Twitter account posted a post commemorating the scene where it “thanks everyone who stumbled.” The popular Obstacle Battle Royale has moved to a free-to-play model. Moreover, the game is also available on Xbox, Nintendo Switch and mobile devices.

However, the transition has not been entirely smooth. As game servers struggle to gain popularity, many gamers have faced the problem of weekend games. Fall Guys is no stranger to this, given that the game ran into similar issues when it first launched on PlayStation 4 and PC in 2020.

A lot of things are changing in the world of Fall Guys, the developers at Mediatonic have decided to add a few more features to the game, including the new Season Pass, which acts as a premium version of the Battle Pass game. The free progression path is still available, so only free play players can continue enjoying the game as before.
