Light nine lamps at once in Diablo Immortal: How to solve the lamp puzzle

Players looking for Missing Runes leave with a Diablo Immortal bulb puzzle.

The Lost Runes Quest begins when players enter the Zoltun Kulle Library and encounter the Curator Statue. It should start automatically as soon as they are in range and force players to light up the nine lamps currently located in a 2×2 square grid. There are three rows of lamps, three lamps each.

As with most minigames similar to other games, touching a single lamp will affect those around it. In Diablo Immortal, touching a single lamp will cause four fireballs to shoot around it in four cardinal directions – turning on or off any lamps it encounters.

Luckily, the game allows players to reload the puzzle by interacting with Runa in the same room so they can try as many times as they want. However, for those who can’t find the time to involve the gods in this puzzle, we know how long it takes to write the solution below.

To solve the light bulb puzzle:

1. Start at the westernmost corner of the grid and turn on the corner lamp. Turns on the upper central lamp.
2. Head east (right) to the north corner and turn on this corner lamp. This will dim the upper middle lamp but brighten the corner.
3. Repeat this process clockwise around the corners of the grid, starting with the easternmost corner lamp and moving to the southern corner lamp.
4. Light a lamp in the middle.

If everything is done correctly, all lamps should light up and players can continue the mission.
