Minecraft is a place where anything is possible. It is one of the best examples of what sandbox games are capable of, as people use it to play the game in countless different ways. Some use it as an opportunity to recreate their favorite games, some like to play around with game systems to program new things into them, and some just like to create awesome stuff.
There are also many interesting downloadable maps, and one of the most fun is The Mangrove Restoration Project by Everbloom Games. Everbloom Games makes quite a few cards, but this one seems eco-friendly. The map challenges players to restore the world’s mangrove forests by planting new trees.

You should also use a monitor to check your CO2 levels, and the more the global climate improves by planting more trees, the more wildlife will return to the area. The map also has lots of unique wildlife, beautiful kayaks, and a general focus on how we can make a positive impact on the environment. While it’s not the same as going out into the world and doing some good, it’s a great way to educate young gamers on how we can all try to help the planet.
You can download the map titled Rooted Together here. This is a big part of The Nature Conservancy’s partnership that Mojang is involved in, in which they have donated $200,000 to the cause and will also be watching several charity streams later this summer. It’s great to see that this initiative is more than just a cool card to play.
