The Summer Game Fest featured a new horror game, Fort Solis, which is described as “Dead Space meets Duncan Jones’ Moon.” This new sci-fi space game from Fallen Leaf and Black Drakkar Games certainly delivers on that promise in its first trailer, with intense over-the-shoulder exploration and spooky atmosphere.
The trailer shows a spacesuit-clad figure exploring the seemingly abandoned Fort Solis base before confronting a mysterious figure, and is then shown frantically trying to make his way through the red-lit corridors. They are then shown a recording of a voice message on camera: “Something is going on here, and I need to know what it is.” Not particularly joking, really.
The game stars renowned voice actors Troy Baker and Roger Clark, the latter best known for his role as protagonist Arthur Morgan in the cowboy epic Red Dead Redemption 2. Baker plays a doctor named Wyatt Taylor who works at Fort Solis. . the character would be “sometimes the opposite of Roger’s character”, who is named Jack Leary. Leary works as a maintenance engineer at a remote mining outpost on Mars, whose job it is to make sure no equipment fails during a shift at the graveyard.
