MSI Unveils AC Valhalla Inspired RTX 3080 Special Edition

The RTX 3080 is arguably one of the best graphics cards you can buy for your gaming PC right now as manufacturers look to build their own Nvidia GPUs. With that in mind, there’s a new pixel booster that should be of interest to all Assassin’s Creed Valhalla fans.

MSI has introduced a special version of its RTX-3080 Suprim X graphics card inspired by Ubisoft’s Viking open world game (via Videocardz). The pixelated pusher replaces its relatively plain metallic gray shell with a two-tone blue, clearly inspired by the AC Valhalla aesthetic. Look closely and you’ll also notice the game logo on the center fan.

The rear of the GPU also received an Assassin’s Creed-inspired makeover, with a teal-colored map that evokes the game’s journey through medieval Norway and Britain. However, we think MSI missed the trick here by not replacing its dragon logo with the AC Valhalla logo, but at least this version of the RTX 3080 retains its RGB customization features.

Unfortunately, there are no details on when (and if) this card will be available for purchase. More annoyingly, it looks like this special edition GPU is limited to the Taiwanese market, if that freebie is any sign.

Don’t be discouraged if you’re looking for a top-tier graphics card, as Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 4000 graphics cards are coming up soon. In fact, they could be with us in July if the recent rumors are true.
