V Rising players must learn how to defeat the alpha wolf to get their first blood power V.
Defeating bosses is one of the main aspects of the V Rising game. The first boss player to defeat is Alpha Wolf, a large white wolf with a badly injured face and body. You can find him at the Wolf Den in Farbane Woods. At level 16, he is the weakest of the bosses and serves as something of an intro to the game in boss fights.
After defeat, players will gain access to the Wolf Form V Blood power and can transform into a wolf to travel faster.

The alpha wolf is basically a warrior warrior. At this point, players have probably eaten their fair share of wolves in the wild. The alpha wolf has a similar attack pattern and there is a caveat: it can summon additional wolves to annoy the player.
This boss’ main attack is the spark that players can see brewing – they allow plenty of time to get out of the way. Once charged, the alpha wolf pauses for a few moments, giving the player the ability to attack and deal damage. The alpha wolf will also stop and throw its head back, creating another, albeit small, opportunity to scream and hurt its additional wolves.
Players should focus on spears as their chosen primary weapon both for their range and the bonus they give to creatures.
