To unlock Ash Williams (Ash vs. Evil Dead), players simply need to complete their first single-player mission, “If you love someone, set them free…with a chain reaction.”
Missions are fairly simple and short side-scrolling experiences that take players into the world of Evil Dead: The Game, recreating memorable moments from the movies, learning more about game mechanics and, most importantly, unlocking characters, famous costumes and soundtracks.
In this game, players will take on the role of Ash in Evil Dead 2, going through some of the events of the movie such as finding Linda’s necklace, digging into her obsessive head, and expelling a demon she still has.
Once players complete this 20-25 minute task, Ash Williams vs. They will unlock Ash. A collection of playable characters from The Evil Dead for all other mods.
Along with the other three Ash Williams variants, players can play Evil Dead: The Game – Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2, and Army of Darkness – Ash vs. The Evil Dead version is single-player, ranked as a leader. Ashes vs. Evil Dead emits an aura that reduces Hand Jeff skill damage and fear for all survivors.
