CD PROJEKT RED announces that Journey Seasons 1 and 2 are back for good and with new rewards in GWENT: The Witcher. Card game. This reintroduction coincides with patch 10.5, also available to play.
As with their original releases, Geralt Season 1 and Ciri Season 2 will be available to players for free, as well as an additional Premium tier. All decorations included initially are an integral part of both quests, which will also come with new unlockable rewards such as auras, card backs, goodies, music, and loot.
Players who have not previously purchased or played these seasons will be able to unlock all items – old and new – by completing bounties. Those who have already bought or played these quests will be able to unlock new items without having to make additional purchases, and will also be able to continue their adventure where they left off.
On initial release, the first and second seasons of Journey were available for a limited period of three months each. Once re-introduced, both will be available all the time, giving players as much time as they want to see everything they have to offer. The backstories of the characters will also return, fully accessible from the start, so anyone who missed the stories of Geralt and Dandelion, as well as Ciri and Vesemir, can enjoy it all.
Along with the return of the first two Journeys, Update 10.5 has also been introduced to the game. Gwent, which contains general balance changes and is available for free on all supported platforms. You can find out more details by reading the official patch notes.
