For several months, World of Warcraft fans have regularly released WoWesque versions of maps of the United States. However, at least recently, nomadic hedgehog Four similar maps have been posted on Reddit, but this time dedicated to individual European countries. Good… Unfortunately, the French-speaking country was not selected, but the game deserves a huge approval all the same!
“WoW style” maps of European countries
These maps naturally capture the current geography of countries familiar to us and feature the “WoW” style and especially the “WoW Classic”. Thus, we find the cult elements of each country, namely:
- Colosseum in Rome
- sicilian volcanoes
- Dolmens and standing stones of Vessex
- Windmills in Groningen
- Swedish Scandals
Of course, some of the key elements of these countries are missing, for example the port of Rotterdam. However, the idea is still great and deserves to be used in many other countries, in fact all of them! For example, we can’t wait to see if a map of Scotland is planned, jump on Loch Ness, the emblematic lake that inspired Loch Modan, if you’re still hesitant!
Hopefully France, Switzerland, Belgium or Canada will soon be available for their own versions of these maps. We love the idea!
