Valorant’s closed beta was released on April 7, 2020.
Until then, Riot Games’ new “Overwatch-meets-Counter-Strike” experience introduced a modest set of 10 Operators for use in any Bind, Haven, and Split.
Go to Episode 4, Act 3, and the card pool was steadily growing to a depth of seven, with a few renovations consisting of multiple boxes, walkways, and doors along the way. Also, as each battleground continues to push its limits, it becomes increasingly clear that at any time of the day, anywhere in the world, players must decide which map is less suited to their tastes.
DBLTAP interviewed some of the best players in the game from Team Liquid, The Guard and OpTic Gaming during the first phase of the Valorant Champions Tour: Masters Reykjavik and asked their common questions: What is the worst card in Valorant? Here’s what we found.
Fun fact: I’m not a developer, I can’t give you a riot mate, and Bind is the best map to escalate the worst.

According to Liquid Travis “L1NK” Mendoza, the answer has to be a snow card.
“Icebox the worst,” L1NK told DBLTAP. “Icebox plays one-dimensionally like, ‘Hey, that’s right.’ [Snake Bite] Bomb, stun grenade then finish. This is exactly how you play the map in Icebox, just as it is a one-dimensional game vehicle.
Adil “ScreaM” Benrilitom, L1NK teammate, Liilid teammate and longtime Icebox recycling advocate, was a big fan seeing the 4.04 changes he received in February, but he still thinks his dynamic is enough. repetitive.
I think site B should be converted to Icebox, maybe the map is really sick
– Liquid cry?? (@Yell_) May 6, 2021
“I think Icebox has really improved with the changes,” ScreaM said. “I think it’s really good, but just like the Icebox map is still very similar, right? You have to put the Spike and the other side on the defensive, try to avoid it. It ends always the same thing. over and over. That’s it. “I don’t like this card, but yeah.”
Ultimately, however, ScreaM felt that their currently least popular cards were tied between two big baddies – Bind and Fracture.
“Bind is definitely one of the worst,” ScreaM said. “Although it’s great, you know, like TPs and the like, but I don’t know, man, this card is so weird for us. Anyway, for Liquid, we never spent a good time on it right now i will say today is bound and broken for me maybe just because its not us [often] Play these cards as a team, you know? »
Speaking to Bind, OpTic Pujan “FNS” Mehta explained that despite his personal success with the Moroccan desert city, he sits in the bottom two spots on the card.
“It’s really funny because Bind is one of our best cards,” FNS said. Maybe just because it’s such a big map, Fracture is just too much. Closing points and you have to invest a lot in verifying the map before entering the site. I would say Bind and Fracture are the two worst cards.
The maps are terribly bad in terms of the area you have to play with bombs in, due to the distance beyond this agent’s capabilities. Maximum 1 large item per Bombsite Haven, Cooler, Split & Bind. Expand the cards!!!!

Finally, defender Michael “Net” Burnett’s response was probably painfully understandable – the worst cards in the game are the ones that damage your sanity the most while on the run.
Cap. Map from the top of the breeze
— GUARD net (@neT_valorant) September 4, 2021
“I don’t think it’s necessarily the ‘worst card,'” Net said. “I just think the ratings distribution is really bad. It’s just not pleasant. Same with Breeze. Split and Breeze in the leaderboard aren’t just fun.
“For the run, Split and Breeze are maps that require a lot of teamwork and coordination to be successful. To be successful, Split’s attacking side and then Breeze’s defense must be coordinated. … in the Split and Breeze ratings ., Too “People get lost and don’t understand the general concept of how to play the card.”
