In a report to investors Ubisoft revealed that it would release three major games in the second half of its fiscal year. “[Finanční růst v letech 2022–23] mainly a variety of premium games will be played, including Avatar: Pandora’s Limits, Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope and Skull and Bones, as well as other interesting names. Free-to-play games will also drive this growth, especially those based on our largest IPs,” said the CFO. Frederic Duguet.
The first two named games are announced for 2022, so if nothing changes, then they should come out this year. However, it will arrive no earlier than August 1, when the middle of the financial year will come. When Avatar: Pandora’s Limits then it is assumed that he will at least approximately accompany the upcoming film Avatar: Path of Waterwhich will be released in theaters on December 15th.
Concerning Skull and Bones, the long-running title does not currently have a release date, so it has time until the aforementioned March 2023. However, according to sources in Kotaku magazine, the pirate action movie is due this year. So it looks like the current iteration of a problematic project could be a successful release.
