LoL: Riot is still working on a visual overhaul for Ahri, but that will have to wait until 2023.

Riot Games didn’t miss the announcements in its latest video showing the changes coming to League of Legends in the coming months. The studio specifically revealed the name of the next character to join Summoner’s Rift, famed athlete K’Sante, but also gave the first hints of new champions coming in early 2023.

A medium sized update, two new champions were announced, Neko and Syndra. However, another update is expected, visual this time: Ahri was announced earlier this year.

A requested update

Most callers have been wanting to hear about this infamous visual overhaul for a while. After the hard work of the dev team, they showed lots of images and videos of what the champion would look like. The base version is nearly complete, but it looks like it’s time to visually change all of Ahri’s skins.

The champion currently has an impressive number of 12 different skins. (13 if you count the base teaser image), so it’s only fitting that it took this long to visually capture one of the oldest champions in the game. ‘Ahri, but that’ll probably come at the start of the season 13 and We will see the overall champion at the big annual conference in January 2023.
