Generally, we will start with a small methodological explanation. Who needs specifics?
This category includes the longest CCs in the game, all categories combined. This makes sense, because if certain conditions are to be met, it is normal for the downtime to be longer than the raw spell. At the top of the leaderboard is one of League of Legends’ oldest champions: Ash.. The duration of the voltage R depends on the distance traveled by the latter. The higher it is, the longer enemies are stunned. Ashe can stun you for up to 3.5 seconds, giving your opponents plenty of time to dodge danger.
The next step is Karma, its W is amplified by its R (these are not two different CCs, so it works with the methodology), Immobilizes the opponent for 3.25 seconds when the spell ends. Finally, it fits perfectly with the theme of the last TFT team, since the last champion on the podium is Aurelion Sol. Starforger’s Q has similar mechanics to Ashe’s R as its duration is based on how far the champion has traveled. With a combination of Q and E, he can stun the target(s) for up to three seconds. It’s impressive, but both champions work just as well and unconditionally.
You will not move!
Obviously Morgana is part of this summit A cage that will hold you for 3 seconds. He also joined Neeko. E has exactly the same duration. This may seem unfair to Aurelion Sol, who needs certain conditions for equal time, but both wizard spells only immobilize an opponent who can still take revenge, while the dragon blocks any action.
Maokai achieves a podium for unconditional immobilization, R to immobilize one or more opponents for 2.6 seconds. Luckily the magic animation is quite slow, otherwise the treant would be persistent/persistent. It’s still a little noticeable if compared to the Neeko E, which can also hit multiple characters and has a much shorter cooldown than the last character. Luckily, spells don’t have the same hibox, at least Maokai prefers in that regard. Three champions deserve honorable mention with 2.5 second CCs : Malzahar R, Lilia and finally Veigar E.
